The only way that we will suggest changing your monthly Direct Debit payments is if the amount you are paying does not reflect your monthly charges. If you are on a fixed contract, your unit rates and standing charges are fixed and will not change during the length of your contract but depending on your usage, the monthly payments may change. 

For your first payments to us, it is based on an estimate from the information provided to us during your quotation - we are only able to get access to your previous usage data from your old supplier once you have already switched to us. This could mean you can build up debit or credit on your account, depending if you have used less or more energy than it was first anticipated. 

We conduct a Direct Debit review periodically and you will always be notified if we did need to make any changes to your monthly Direct Debit payments.
